New Material! |
Cliff Art is always working on new material, so we thought we might highlight that process with some current work in progress. The Process: The way Cliff Art typically writes new material is that either Cliff or Stuart writes a structure and/or melody and the other guy writes elements to go along with that. Following that typical process, Stuart currently has a new piece called "insecurity". (Actually, he has had this one in progress for over a year, but who is counting?)
Listen to the stick part written out using
notation software and exported as a midi file. When we get a duo rough copy ready, we will make a recording and post that here so you can compare the original written concept to the early duo work. Later, we will post the further evolution of the concept. We have some interesting ideas for where this could go. Like everything else, Cliff Art music is in a constant state of flux; that is what keeps it interesting! "insecurity" is copyright 2004/2005 by Stuart Mawler |

We just love the Cliff Art logo and know
that you probably do too. So we made up T-shirts that sport the little guys and
their instruments. You can get the shirts in the usual T-shirt grey, a nice sandy
brown, or a few in a lovely teal color. We are thinking about black, so if you
like black, you should put in your vote.
To order a shirt, send us an e-mail requesting that we hold a particular size and color.
That way, we can be sure that we have it. When we confirm that we have the shirt, you
can send us a check for $12.00 (US currency) to: CliffArtifacts, Inc.Make the check payable to "Stuart Mawler"
Or you can always come to a gig, where we have the shirts in person! |
